Becoming Her: Embracing the Woman You’re Called to Be
Jul 13, 2025
There comes a moment when you realize you're no longer the same woman you used to be.
Not because someone told you so, but because something within you shifted. The tears you've cried, the disappointments you've endured, the heartbreaks you've survived—they didn’t break you. They built you.
You’re not lost—you’re becoming.
Becoming Her is a Journey, Not a Destination
The woman you’re becoming isn’t a version of perfection.
She is healed, not because she hasn’t hurt—but because she chose to heal anyway.
She is rising, not because she never fell—but because she got back up.
She is reinvented, not because her life stayed on course—but because she learned how to pivot with grace and God.
Becoming Her means embracing the transformation. It means letting go of the woman you used to be: the one who begged to be chosen, the one who stayed silent when she should have spoken up, the one who carried shame like a second skin.
She served her purpose. But now it’s time to evolve.
Letting Go So You Can Grow
God can’t bless who you pretend to be. The longer you hold on to an outdated identity, the longer you delay your destiny.
The woman you’re becoming is:
-
Bold, even when she’s afraid.
-
Grounded, even when life is shaky.
-
Joyful, even in uncertainty.
-
Whole, even when the world tries to define her by what she lost.
Romans 12:1 says, “Present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.”
Becoming Her means surrendering. Every day. It means saying, “God, use this pain, use this past, use my life to bless somebody else.”

Final Thoughts
You don’t need permission to evolve.
You don’t need validation to grow.
You don’t need perfection to begin.
You are in the middle of a holy transformation.
And you, my sister, are becoming her—
The healed one.
The risen one.
The reinvented one.
Keep going. You’re doing better than you think.
